  • Using axillary shoot micropropagation technics to multiply and propagate in vitro     agricultural and horticultural species, including but not limited to bamboo, cannabis, geranium, grasses, wasabi, etc.
  • Applying plant somatic embryogenesis as a platform for multiplication and propagation, including but not limited to forage legumes (alfalfa), agricultural plants (sugar beet, tomatoes, etc.); conifers (loblolly pine, longleaf pine, lodgepole pine, white spruce, norway spruce, black spruce etc.).

Commercializing tissue culture systems:    

  • Optimizing protocols and implementing a base-line production process
  • Scale-up existing procedures to increase productivity and reduce cost
  • Writing standard operating procedures and training manuals
  • Developing plant tissue culture media data base and media batch records
  • Developing quality control system
